Sometimes students will be given an article from NewsELA. They will be given a hard copy of this. However, they may choose to read it and take the quiz online. Students should READ THE QUESTIONS before reading the article. This will give them the main points they should be looking for as they read. If students prefer to use the online version, they must preview the questions on the printed article, as the questions can't be previewed on line.

The students have taken home their log in for IXL. This is a great way to practice their math skills!!

- click 'Spell'
- and type in what they hear. All of their spelling words will be asked and there may be some additional words included that follow that pattern
